description: This vase is clearly a great use for empty glass bottles. Add some beads and wrie and you'll upcycle your container into a blooming new flower holder.

ingredients:
- glass bottle or jar
- 24 gauge wire
- beads

tools:
- wire cutters
- needle nosed pliers
- tape
- ruler

instructions:
1.Start with a glass bottle that's clean and empty. Cut a piece of 24 gauge wire to about 40" long.

2. Wrap one end of the wire around the rim of the jar 3 times. Then twist the short end around the wire wrap a few times to keep it from unraveling. Tape the wire to the bottle to keep it in place while you're beading.

3. String a few beads onto the wire. Push the beads to where you want them to rest. Grip the wire with your round-nosed pliers, just below the beads. Then, loop the wire around the tip of the
pliers. This keeps the beads from slipping off. Continue beading and looping the wire until you’ve reached the end.

4. Wrap the beaded wire around your bottle. Secure the end of the wire by wrapping it around another part of the wire a few times. Remove the piece of tape. Then, fill the vase with water and a flower and place it in your kitchen or give it to a friend to brighten their day!
