description: The Wine-O is a trivet created from used wine corks and recycled glass beads. It's all held together with copper wire. Many of the recycled glass beads have a greenish tint to them hinting at the glass bottle that wine comes in. Cork is a good material for a trivet because it deflects heat. The Wine-O is a great way to serve up a meal, especially when accompanied by a bottle of wine.

special notes: We collected most of these wine corks from the nice restaurants around Main Street when we lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The people at The Earle, Gratzi, The Chop House, and Palio were very helpful, along with many more neighbors.
